Kinoronahang pinakabagong Miss Universe ang 24-anyos na pambato ng France na si Iris Mittenaere sa isinagawang coronation day sa Mall of Asia Arena ngayong araw.
Nasungkit naman ni Miss Haiti and 1st runner up crown at 2nd runner up naman si Miss Colombia.
Hindi na pumasok sa Top 3 ng Miss Universe ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Maxine Medina.
Sa question and answer portion matapos na mapabilang sa Top 6, ito ang naging tanong kay Maxine: “What is the most significant change you’ve seen in the world in the last 10 years?”
Sinagot niya ito na: “The last 10 years of being here in the world is that I saw all the people being in one event like this and it’s something big to us that we are one, as one nation, we are all together.”
Samantala, taong 1953 pa nang huling mapasakamay ng France ang Miss Universe title.
