Ayon kay DOST Secretary Fortunato ‘boy’ T. Dela Peña, dinibelop ng Northern Mindanao Food Innovation Center (NMFIC) ang nasabing food products tulad ng green mango, singkamas, polvoron, protein-rich soy singkamas cookies, fiber-enriched chayote cookies, all-natural chayote calamansi concentrate, hassle free kinilaw mix, all-natural sibujing powder at color-stable chili garlic in oil.
Ang NMFIC ay kabilang sa 17 regional food innovation center na binubuo ng DOST sa bansa. — sa panunulat ni Airiam Sancho
