According to reports from 2023, Aira Jane Barredo has previously been accused of cyber libel, unjust vexation, among other charges, filed by Ryan Armenta and Katherine Melendez in Pampanga, with additional allegations of cyber libel filed by Inah Patricia Simon in Caloocan.
