Tinatayang nasa 19 hanggang 31 milyon ang inaasahang maaapektuhan ng pananalasa ng super bagyong Rolly.
Ito ang inihayag ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) sa ipinatawag na pulong balitaan ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque sa Kampo Aguinaldo ngayong umaga.
Sa naging ulat ni NDRRMC Executive Dir. Ricardo Jalad, sinabi nito na aabot sa 12 rehiyon ang nakatikim ng hagupit ng super bagyong Rolly.
Base on the current projected track of typhoon Rolly, estimated population of 19.8 million are exposed to the typhoon within the 60 km diameter and 31.9 million within the 120 km diameter, these are composed of 4.2 million households within the 60 km and 7.1 million households within the 120 km diameter,” ani Jalad.
Kasunod nito, ini-ulat din ni Jalad na aabot sa mahigit 96,000 pamilya o katumbas ng mahigit sa 346,000 indibiduwal ang maaga nang inilikas bilang paghahanda sa bagyo.
Kasunod nito, sinabi ni Jalad na patuloy pa nilang tinututukan ang sitwasyon hinggil sa kung ilan ang casualties gayundin ang halaga ng pinsalang idinulot ng super bagyo.
