Pinayagan na ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ang 24 higher education institutions o HEI’s na magsagawa ng limitadong “face-to-face classes” simula sa ikalawang semestre ng academic year 2020-2021.
Ayon kay CHED Chairman Prospero de Vera III, pasado na sa mahigpit na retrofitting at nakasunod sa mga panuntunan ng Department of Health at Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang mga sumusunod na kolehiyo at unibersidad:
- Mariano Marcos State University – Batac (Region I)
- St. Louis University (Cordillera Administrative Region)
- Our Lady of Fatima University – City of San Fernando (Region III)
- Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (National Capital Region-NCR)
- University of Santo Tomas (NCR)
- University of East Ramon Magsaysay (NCR)
- Our Lady of Fatima University – Quezon City (NCR)
- Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela City (NCR)
- Manila Central University (NCR)
- University of the Philippines-Manila (NCR)
- Adventist University of the Philippines (Region IV)
- De La Salle Health and Medical Science Institute (Region IV)
- University of Perpetual Help – Don Jose (Region IV)
- Our Lady of Fatima University – Sta. Rosa (Region IV)
- Naga College Foundation (Region V)
- West Visayas State University (Region VI)
- Central Philippine University (Region VI)
- Cebu Institute of Medicine (Region VII)

Dahi dito, ayon kay de Vera, ang mga 3rd at 4th year students sa mga nasabing institusyon ay maaari nang isalang sa hands-on training at laboratory classes sa pamamagitan ng limitadong face-to-face system.
Sinasabing prayoridad nito ang mga kumukuha ng health-related degree programs gaya ng medicine, nursing, medical technology/medical laboratory science, physical therapy, midwifery, at public health.
