Ipinagkaloob ng South Korean government ang isang daan at tatlumpung (130) patrol car sa Philippine National Police.
Ayon kay South Korean Ambassador to the Philippines Han Dong – Man , ang naturang mga sasakyan ay bahagi ng official development assistance ng Korea sa bansa.
Sinaksihan ang turnover ceremony nina Han, South Korean Police Chief Commissoner General Lee Chul – Sung at PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde sa Camp Karingal noong Lunes.
Tinukoy naman ni Albayalde na ipapamahagi ang naturang mga police patrol car sa iba’t ibang unit ng PNP tulad ng Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Anti – Kidnapping Group, Anti – Cybercrime at National Capital Region Police Office.
Gayundin sa mga lugar na mayroong established Korean communities gaya sa Angeles City, Cebu City, Lapu – Lapu City, Mandaue City, Davao City at Baguio City.
