Ang mga naturang Pinoy seafarers ng Costa Smeralda ay sinalubong ng mga opisyal mula sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Samantala, 223 pang Pinoy mula naman sa Saudi Arabia ang nakauwi na rin ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng special flight ng Saudi Airlines patungong Pilipinas.
Tiniyak ng DFA ang tuluy-tuloy na hakbangin nila para ma-repatriate ang mga overseas Pinoys dahil sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
