Naipadala na sa House Committee on Rules ang Impeachment Complaints laban kina Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno at Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Chairman Andres Bautista.
Sa magkahiwalay na sulat, inirefer ni Atty. Darren de Jesus, head executive assistant ni House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez ang mga naturang impeachment complaints kay House Rules Committee Chair at Majority Floor Leader Rodolfo Fariñas.
Ang House Speaker ay mayroong sampung araw mula sa pagkakatanggap ng impeachment complaint para i-refer ito sa rules committee upang mapasama sa order of business.
Kasunod nito ang pag-refer naman ng impeachment complaints sa committee on justice sa loob ng tatlong session days.
Tututukan naman ng justice committee ang sufficiency in form and substance ng mga nasabing impeachment complaint para alamin kung may probable cause dito.
Ang mga impeachment complaint laban kay Sereno ay inihain ng Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) at Vanguard of the Philippine Constitution Incorporated at ni Atty. Larry Gadon.
Samantala, ang impeachment complaint laban kay Bautista ay isinampa ni Atty. Oliver Lozano.
