Tiniyak ni presidential frontrunner Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr., nahigit pang palalakasin ang kagalingan, kapabilidad at mabilis na aksiyon ng pamahalaan sa lahat ng uri ng kalamidad sakaling manalo sa darating na May 9 presidential elections.
Ani Marcos, bahagiito ng kanyangplanoupangkahitpapaano ay malabanan ang hindi mapigilang climate change o global warming.
Ang pahayagnaitoni Marcos, standard bearer ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), ay isinagawanangmagkaroon ng virtual press conference samga local mediamenmulasa Bicol at Western Visayas Regions nitongnakalipasnaMiyerkules.
“What’s important is the immediacy of our response time. We should have everything already in place, in every place, and an evacuation plan as to where people can go,” ani Marcos nangtanungin kung paano makatutulong sa mga probinsiyang lapitin ng bagyo.
“All of the relief goods have to be delivered immediately,” sabi pa niya.

“On the government end we really have to beef up our ( capabilities), yungtinatawagna civil defense yang mga helicopter natin, yungmga C130, all of these airlift capabilities that we need so that we can immediately respond to any disaster,” anang Marcos.
Batid ni Marcos ang epekto ng global warming at climate change kaya kailangan ay mabilis at prayoridad din ang magingtugonnitoupangmakapaglatag ng isangkomprehensibongplano.
“Philippines is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world when it comes to global warming and climate change, so talagang ang maarinatingtingnan ay preparation and mitigation,” paliwanag pa niya.
“Scientists have been proven right for years, they have been telling us that when global warming comes what will happen is we will have more severe weather. Nakikitananatinyun” sabi pa niya.

“We have to mitigate. What we can do is learn the lessons from typhoons Yolanda, from Odette, from Agaton that we have to be really very very careful about where we build our structure and where we build the home of the people,” dagdag pa ni Marcos.
Naunanangsinabini Marcos ang pagpapalakas ng internet-based Disaster Risk Information Roadmap bilangbahagi ng programangmagbibigayproteksiyonsalahat ng indibiduwal, gayundinsakapaligiran at kalikasan.
Idinagdagnitongprayoridadniya ang isangpamahalaangmagsusulong ng ‘environment protection and preservation,’ namagbibigaydiin din sapagpapalakassa ‘institute policy reforms and programs.’
“Nature has its rights that should be protected. It should be allowed to flourish, reproduce and attain its abundance side by side with human civilization in perfect balance and harmony with our growing communities,” sabi pa ni Marcos.
