“My meeting with President Moon Jae-In was very warm. He and I committed to significantly strengthen our partnership esp. in the areas of defense, security, trade and investment, infrastructure development and protection of our nationals.”
“I express full support for all efforts to the eventual denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.”
“We both reaffirmed the need to work closer together address traditional and emerging threats– terrorism, transnational crimes, piracy at sea.”
“Filipino community in South Korea welcomed me warmly. I gave them my commitment that their gov’t will continue to work hard to advance their interest, protect their well-being, and uphold their rights.”
