Planbank (Rural Bank of Canlubang Planters Inc.) celebrated its platinum anniversary on Thursday, November 24, 2022, with a Thanksgiving Mass and simple lunch at the head office, Planbank Bldg., Barangay Halang, Calamba City, Laguna.
Rev. Fr. Marlu V. Marasigan, Parish Priest of the Holy Trinity Parish officiated the Thanksgiving Mass which was attended by Planbank officers, branch managers, department heads and staff. In his homily, Fr. Marasigan gave a glimpse of what transpired during the past 7 decades, and was amazed by how Planbank survived several economic downfalls, unforeseen challenges, and trials. He also reminded them to always put God at the center of the business – the key to continued success.
Planbank Executive Officer Dannica Nicole A. Cabangon, in her message, extended her warmest greetings and appreciation to all the employees and clients who have been part of this company milestone. She assured that the ALC Group of Companies, under the leadership of chairman D. Edgard A. Cabangon, will give their utmost support to Planbank.
Meanwhile in a special message to the stakeholders, Planbank President D. Michaela Cabangon Chua pledged the company’s commitment to continued growth in the years to come. “Our clients will always be at the forefront of our priorities. While we continue to grow, so will our commitment to them. And as we move into the next years, we are prepared to make Planbank stronger by bringing products and services that enable our clients to succeed,” she shared.
At present, Planbank is the biggest rural bank in Laguna with 10 branches in the province. It has also expanded in Batangas with 2 branches, and in Bulacan with 1 branch, bringing its total network of branches to 13.
