Napagkasunduan ng mga miyembro ng gabinete ng administrasyong Marcos na bigyang pagkilala ang historic gains at mga repormang naipatupad sa nakalipas na isang taon ng pamumuno ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Ito’y matapos maglabas ng pahayag ang mga Cabinet secretaries ni Marcos kung saan kanilang tinuran ang mga development programs at proyekto ng gobyerno para mapagbuti pa ang pamumuhay ng mga Pilipino.
Pahayag ni Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople, simula umpisa nilinaw sa kanila ng Pangulo na nais nito ng nagkakaisang team na handang suportahan ang isa’t isa sa mga layunin, proyekto at mga plano.
Sa ilalim ng liderato ni Marcos, sinabi ni Ople na nalampasan ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) ang mga pagsubok sa transitory work.
“The future looks bright in the field of overseas employment because this sense of teamwork, camaraderie, and shared initiatives are infectious, leading to a more upbeat outlook on the Philippines among foreign employers,” ayon kay Ople.
Inilarawan naman ni Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual bilang “visionary” ang leadership style ni Marcos.
“His strategic guidance to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in promoting investments and ease of doing business is our driving force to achieve shared prosperity for all. Under his direction, the DTI has been steadfast in our commitment to foster a conducive environment for businesses, enabling them to thrive, generate more jobs and increase income to our fellow Filipinos,” ayon kay Pascual.
Sinabi ni Pascual ang pag-apruba ng pangulo sa Green Lane for Strategic Initiatives sa pamamagitan gn Executive Order No. 18 na nagkakaloob ng one-stop action center para sa mas mabilis na permitting at licensing ng foreign investments.
Samantala, sinabi ni National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan na bagaman hinarap ng Pangulo ang macroeconomic shock sa unang isang taon niya sa puwesto dahil sa Covid-19 pandemic ay nalampasan ito ng administrasyon at nakamit ng bansa ang full recovery mula sa global health crisis.
“Moreover, his leadership is charting for the Philippines a path that is resilient and inclusive. Recognizing the immediate issues at hand, the President crafted his 8-Point Socioeconomic Agenda, a list of priorities that would guide the policies, programs, and initiatives of his presidency,” sabi ni Balisacan.
Ani Balisacan, sa isang taon ng Marcos presidency, nananatiling on track ang ekonomiya ng bansa para makamit ang high-growth norm.
Mabilis din aniyang bumalik ang tiwala sa gobyerno ng private sector at halos hindi na nagpakita ng “wait-and-see attitude” sa bagong administrasyon.
Samantala, sa kanyang panig, sinabi ni Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian na ang marching order ni Pangulong Marcos sa ahensya ay tiyaking magagamit ang makinarya ng gobyerno para makamit ang poverty incidence reduction.
Sa ilalim ng direktiba ng Presidente, nagawa aniya ng DSWD na makapaglagay ng satellite offices sa ilang bahagi ng bansa.
Binanggit din ni Gatchalian ang pagbibigay ng go signal ng Pangulo sa Walang Gutom 2027: Food Provision through Strategic Transfer and Alternative Measures Program (Food STAMP Program), na layong mabawasan ang mga insidente ng involuntary hunger ng mahihirap na pamilyang Pinoy.
Ang reporma naman sa local governance at peace and order ang ibinahagi ni Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr.
Ayon kay Abalos, pinalakas pa ng DILG ang paglaban sa ilegal na droga sa ilalim ng Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan o BIDA program.
“We were able to establish partnerships with more than 30 private companies to formulate their respective anti-illegal drug policy alongside the random drug testing. We have also improved community-based drug rehabilitation (CBDR) through partnerships with international development entities such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-RenewHealth program in the rehabilitation of persons who use drugs (PWUDs),” ani Abalos.
Sa tulong ng Pangulo, sinabi ni Abalos na nagawa ng DILG na tiyakin na ang mga LGUs ay mas magbibigay ng maayos na public service.
