Ipinahayag ni US President Donald Trump ang pagnanais na bitayin ang suspek sa terror attack sa New York.
Sa kanyang sunod-sunod na tweet, sinabi ni Trump na kanyang pinag-iisipang ipatapon ang suspek na si Sayfullo Saipov sa Guantanamo Bay detention ngunit nagbago umano ang kanyang isip.
Giit ni Trump, mas mabilis aniya kung patawan na lamang ng death penalty si Saipov dahil sa karumaldumal na krimen.
Matatandaang, walo katao ang nasawi habang 12 iba pa ang nasugatan matapos araruhin ni Saipov ang mga tao sa bike lane sa New York City.
