Too early now to say that it is a very severe infection that causes death, we are in the early stages of trying to understand how severe this infection is and how many deaths it is likely to cause,” ani Abeyasinghe.
As soon as we have access to such information that is reliable and verified we will share it not only to the Philippines but with other member states also. We are making every effort, WHO has activated a 3-level incident management team which includes the headquarters, regional office and country of it is in China and we are closely following the situation including Chinese authorities,” ani Abeyasinghe.
